In a candid conversation format, participants will discuss how to best affect positive community change for the betterment of children and families. From a systematic and strategic approach, the conversation will center on how to best work with internal and external structures and processes to affect culture shifts. In regard to internal structures, the dialogue will consider how organizations’ missions, values, boards, and processes can support social change, as well as how these activities can be woven into all services and programs. From an external perspective, the discussion will focus on the best ways to work with constituents to help them find, develop, and articulate their authentic voices. Conversation will also include remarks about finding financial support for community strengthening work, challenges to expect, and how to capitalize on those challenges.
