Co-authors of a recent study on youth-serving organizations will share insights on the drivers of growth for youth-serving organizations. In the youth-serving sector in particular, maintaining annual levels of service, staffing, and funding is an uphill battle that often takes heroic effort on the part of nonprofit leaders and boards. The workshop will zero in on key pillars of growth identified in the study, and will take attendees through an exercise to help them understand their organizational growth rate relative to other organizations of similar size

Workshop objectives/takeaways:

  • Understanding four pillars of growth and organization rate of growth;

  • Thinking about strengths and weaknesses of each pillar of attendees’ organizations;

  • First pass at prioritizing next steps for organizational investment;

  • Learning ideas for how to think about next steps for organizational growth at your organization.

Presenters: Kelly Campbell, partner, and Rohit Menezes, manager, The Bridgespan Group
