Strengthening Leadership by Learning from the Past and Present (CC)
Current and retired executives will discuss their experience as leaders in the human services field during this workshop. By discussing in detail commonalities and differences in past and present leadership requirements for child- and family-serving nonprofits they will explore how leaders rely on the foundation laid by predecessors, while also strengthening that foundation for future generations of leaders. “For what has been, thank you. For what is to come ... yes."– Dag Hammarskjold
Facilitators: Donald H. Goughler, president and CEO, Family Services of Western Pennsylvania; Reed Henderson, retired CEO and consultant, Henderson Consulting; and Sheila T. Zelenski, vice president member relations and knowledge management, Alliance for Children and Families
Retiree Dinner, 6 p.m. cocktails; 6:30 p.m. dinner
In your honor, celebrate with fellow retired CEOs at a special retiree dinner.
“I’m looking forward to seeing former colleagues, comparing retirement experiences and celebrating the rich heritage of the Alliance for Children and Families. I hope you will join us to celebrate this important milestone.” – Reed Henderson, retired Alliance member CEO
